Camp Central Registration 2026

Camp Central

Camp Central is a day camp for preschool-aged children that provides various opportunities for discovery and growth. Under the warm, nurturing care of our experienced counselors, many of them teachers in our nursery school, children will engage in a multi-sensory exploration of waterplay, soccer, art, movement, and music—right in our nursery school classrooms that are transformed into camp “bunks” and outdoor play spaces. We also celebrate Shabbat and learn Jewish values as children deepen their connection to their Jewish identity. Learn more here. Camp will be from June 22, 2026 to July 31, 2026. You may choose to register for one of the following options:

  • Option One: Week 1-6 (June 22 - July 31)

Camp Central Tots: Babies, Beats, and Bubbles

Introducing Babies, Beats, and Bubbles! Join Camp Central Tots and Miss Tracie for a joyful early-childhood music and movement experience designed especially for babies 2 years and younger and the grownups who love them. Each week, we'll sing, dance, play, and explore music and movement for 45 engaging minutes. Because babies learn best through play--and through connection with their primary caregiver--this class is all about nurturing that bond. You'll watch your baby's natural love for music shine and grow. Classes will run from the week of June 22 through the week of July 27. Every child must be accompanied by a parent or trusted caregiver for the entirety of each session. Babies, Beats, and Bubbles I: $600 Recommended for walkers and their grown-ups. Meets twice per week: Tuesdays/Thursdays 10:00 - 10:45 am Babies, Beats, and Bubbles II: $600 Recommended for crawlers, beginning walkers, and their grown-ups. Meets twice per week: Tuesdays/Thursdays 11:00 - 11:45 am Babies, Beat, and Bubbles III*: $300 This is for children under the age of 12 months with their grown-ups. PHOTO & VIDEO RELEASE:

Throughout the summer, the Synagogue, and/or its vendors, will photograph and record (audio and video) Camp Central, Mini Explorers, and Central Tots (individually “Program” or collectively “Programs”) participants for the purposes of educational enrichment, member engagement, and publicity. By giving approval below, it is understood that you, as your child’s legal guardian, grant permission to the Synagogue, its employees, and its legal representatives, to publish, without charge, images (photograph and video) taken of your child on the Synagogue’s premises or in conjunction with a Synagogue event for the purpose of a Synagogue publication. These images (photograph and video) may be used in any and all Synagogue publications, including electronic materials, the Synagogue’s website, social media outlets, audio/visual presentations, promotional literature, and/or advertising. These images (photograph and video) may also be used for professional purposes by the vendor on its website.

COVID-19 VACCINATION NOT CURRENTLY REQUIRED:

Central Synagogue (“the Synagogue”) does not currently require COVID-19 vaccination for children enrolled in Camp Central, Mini Explorers, or Camp Central Tots. However, the Synagogue reserves the right to change its COVID-19 protocols and vaccination requirements, in its discretion, including to require eligible students receive vaccination and all recommended booster doses for their COVID-19 vaccination series. In the event of such a change in protocols, the Synagogue will consider medical or religious accommodations pursuant to applicable law. Accommodations are not guaranteed and are decided on a case-by-case basis. I understand and agree that I will not be entitled to a tuition refund in the event that (a) the Synagogue does not grant an accommodation/exemption request and the student is not able to attend the Program; or (b) the Synagogue changes its COVID-19 protocols in any way.

NON-REFUNDABLE PAYMENTS:

I understand and agree that all Program payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

I acknowledge and agree that in the case of my child’s absence or voluntary withdrawal from a Program prior to the Program’s conclusion, which is not otherwise permitted by Synagogue, I will not be issued a refund for any fees paid or be relieved from any unpaid balances. Unpaid balances shall become immediately due and payable.

If the Synagogue, in its sole discretion, determines that the continued enrollment of a child is not in their or the Program’s best interest (or that the continued involvement of the parent(s)/guardian(s) is not in the best interest of the child or the Program), the Synagogue may request that the child be withdrawn and may refund a pro rata amount of Program fees paid.

I understand and agree that the Synagogue reserves the right to cancel any Camp Central, Mini Explorers, and Camp Central Tots class where the minimum number of children enrolled is not reached. The Synagogue will refund Program payments if minimum enrollment is not reached.

I agree to notify the Synagogue immediately if the physical or legal custody or care arrangements for my child are temporarily or permanently altered. I agree to provide the Synagogue with any and all relevant court documents or orders.

I authorize Central Synagogue to seek medical attention for my child if needed.

If, as a result of the Synagogue’s relationship with the child, you, or any other person interacting with the Synagogue or Synagogue community by virtue of their relationship with the child, the Synagogue or any member of the faculty or staff is required to testify, provide information for, or otherwise participate in a legal dispute to which the Synagogue is not a party, the Synagogue shall be entitled to recover from me the Synagogue’s attorneys’ fees and costs incurred in such legal action and costs incurred by the Synagogue as a result of collection of documents, coverage of staffing, or other associated costs.

I release and hold harmless the Program, the Synagogue, and the Synagogue’s respective trustees, administrators, agents, representatives, and employees from all claims, damages, and other liability for injury or illness to my child or for loss of my child’s property, where such claims, damages, or other liability are not the result of gross negligence by the Synagogue, its trustees, administrators, agents, representatives, or employees.

The obligations of the Synagogue under this Contract may be suspended immediately without notice during periods that the Synagogue and its Programs must close because of force majeure events including, but not limited to, fire, acts of God, war, acts or threats of terrorism, governmental action, medical epidemics, pandemics, outbreaks, natural disaster, or any other event beyond the Synagogue’s control. If such an event occurs, the Synagogue’s duties and obligations under this Contract may be suspended or postponed until such time as the Synagogue, in its sole discretion, may safely re-open. The Synagogue is relieved from performance under this Contract whether or not the underlying force majeure event is foreseeable at the time of execution of this Contract. A force majeure event will not entitle the parent(s) or guardian to a Program payment refund.

CERTIFICATION AND SIGNATURE:

By registering my child in a Program and executing this Contract, I have accepted all foregoing conditions and requirements, which may be changed only by written agreement signed by the Synagogue. I understand that by signing this Contract, I am agreeing to pay the entire Program costs and that I am responsible for all of the terms within the Contract.
